Ruckus

RUCKUS ‘That little band of pixies who popped up everywhere in Tamworth’ and ‘A must see show’ as described by Festival FM, had an absolutely awesome time at this year’s Tamworth CMF.

RUCKUS started off the festival with a solid second place at the Tooheys Battle Of The Bands, played hard for 10 days and finished the festival being WINNERS at the West Leagues, Leader, Battle Of The Bands on the last Sunday. Sandie and Marcy along with the three good looking blokes, Mick on guitar, Kevo on bass and Andy on drums, couldn’t hide their joy.

WHAT A WAY TO FINISH A GREAT FESTIVAL!!

RUCKUS have a dynamic, interactive onstage performance. From Sandie, the band’s livewire singer who captures the hearts of every audience. To the blistering fiddle of Marcy who received top accolades for her fiddle playing with two Golden Fiddle Awards – ‘Best Soloist’ and ‘Best Composition’.

The band’s much awaited second CD “THE OTHER SIDE” was released while in Tamworth. The CD shows a softer side to the band with a couple of personal self-penned songs to a haunting rendition of the Elvis song ‘In The Ghetto’. It also shows a humorous side with the aptly titled ‘Devil Went To The Pub’ and the Neil Young song ‘Get Back To The Country’ which features Sandie on JewsHarp, as well as the normal country rockin’ songs RUCKUS have built a great reputation playing.
